Hello, hi - my name is Amy Rabe.

Welcome to my blog The Nines! 

The Nines is a creative medium to share personal style, beauty tips, and fun times of city living from the perspective of a professional woman living in the city. I hope that by documenting my experiences that others who may have similar interests enjoy it and find it useful. 

A little about me - I'm based in New York City but am originally from Boston. Over the years, I’ve also lived in Georgia, Alabama, and New Jersey. I'm 5'4", married to Sean, and my favorite color is green. Dark forest green.  In my opinion, the best dresses have pockets. I love a full-bodied red wine and cooking. My hobbies include figuring out how to use my Sony A7 mirrorless camera and gushing over corgis on Instagram. I can’t wait until I get a corgi of my own!
