Casual and Versatile Utility Jacket
Miss Rhode Island, please describe your idea of a perfect date. Cheryl "Rhode Island": That's a tough one. I'd have to say April 25th. Because it's not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket.
I'm a couple days late since it is April 27 but it's true - all you need is a light jacket! My pick for a light jacket is this option from Velvet by Graham & Spencer.

This utility jacket from Velvet by Graham & Spencer is insanely easy to wear. I love this for days where I don't feel like putting together an outfit AND days where I do put together an outfit. I'm all in for a casual Friday so I threw this jacket over a simple white tank top and high-waisted jeans.
This jacket fits true to size. A drawstring in the interior of the jacket enables you to adjust the waist to be as tight or loose as you like. It has a medium length, and covers most of my behind. Most of the jacket is a lightweight cotton, perfect for cooler Spring days that hover around 50 degrees F. Because this is a utility jacket, it has a total of 6 functional pockets in the front. Two zippered pockets and 4 cargo pockets that snap close.
Note that the green color is a medium green, reminiscent of army green. The retailer's photos look more yellow and faded, this is not the case! I'm loving this shade of green. Feels relaxed and slightly rugged. This jacket has texture and lots of detail. There is distinct and large stitching all over, ribbed panels under arms, and of course, many pockets. Buttons and zipper are a dark antique brass color. It has a spread collar and flap details on the shoulders. The sleeves are long and have snap closures at the cuff; I prefer to wear with the sleeves rolled up for a relaxed look.
