Blazer & Jeans with a Peekaboo Neckline

Casual enough to still look like you're trying.

For the woman who only has minutes before she need to be out the door and en route to work, the blazer and jeans combo is a much appreciated standard. Why I loved it - 1) It takes minimal effort 2) transcends seasons and 3) always looks put together.

WHY I WORE THIS

To update things just a bit (and for something to look at), I wanted to be a little edgier than normal. Underneath my blazer, I went with a ribbed tank top with a mesh v-neckline. This tank is amazing because it is incredibly soft, has a ton of stretch, and is long enough to tuck in. My blazer is slightly long and loosely fitted. I enjoy this style a lot because my torso is a touch on the long-side. I tucked in my tank top to balance out the loose blazer. If you have a larger bust, I would recommend going with the M/L for the tank top regardless of your waist measurements. The material is VERY stretchy and conforms to the body effortlessly.

This time around to add to the edgy look, I pulled on my favorite ripped jeans. Normally with blazers, I like to keep it clean - no holes or rips. But it was such a casual day, this pair from Articles of Society felt right! They're a skinny fit and the length is ideal for sliders or casual shoes. These booties come up past my ankles so I folded the length up a bit.

My trusty Angela Roi handbag was the perfect bag for my Sunday window shopping (read my comprehensive review of the bag HERE). Since this is a day-time outfit, I added a cognac leather belt, Coach peep-toe booties, and Prada sunglasses.
